Technology & AI: Emerging AI trends, software updates, gadget reviews, and tech industry news.
National & Political News: Objective analysis of Indian politics, policy changes, and election updates.
Local News: Hyper-local community events, civic developments, and city-specific reporting.
The “Explained” Section: Deep-dive, educational articles that answer the “Why” and “How” behind trending news stories.
Editorial Guidelines (Please Read Carefully)
To ensure your submission meets our E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) standards, all content must adhere to the following guidelines:
Originality is Mandatory: We have a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism. Your submission must be 100% original, unpublished elsewhere, and pass all standard AI/plagiarism checks.
Fact-Based & Verified: All claims, especially regarding finance, government policies, or politics, must be backed by credible, linked sources (e.g., official government portals or primary data).
Word Count: News briefs and local updates should be between 400–600 words. In-depth “Explained” articles or financial analyses should be 800–1,500 words.
Tone & Formatting: Keep paragraphs short and scannable. Use H2 and H3 headings to break up the text. The tone should be objective, professional, and accessible.
No Promotional Spam: We do not accept overly promotional articles disguised as news. If you represent a brand and want sponsored coverage, please specify that in your email.
How to Pitch and Submit
Do not send a fully completed article right away. We prefer that you pitch your idea first to ensure it aligns with our current editorial calendar.
Please send an email with the subject line [Contributor Pitch: Your Proposed Topic] to our editorial desk:
Email: Adam@rankmunk.com
What to include in your email:
A brief 2-3 sentence summary of your proposed article.
The target category (e.g., Finance, Tech, Politics).
Links to 2 or 3 previously published articles to showcase your writing style.
A short author bio detailing your expertise in the subject matter.
Our editorial team reviews all pitches weekly. If your pitch is a good fit for Newscod, we will reply with the next steps and publishing timelines.
